Child Care Mini-Grant Request for Application 2011-12

First 5 is pleased to announce the availability of funding for fiscal year July 2011 – June 2012 for licensed child care providers and licensed child care centers to improve quality child care for children ages 0-5 in San Joaquin County. There are a number of ways that this application may be obtained: it may be downloaded from the First 5 website by clicking "Funding Opportunity Request" below; requested as an electronic version by emailing sjckids@sjgov.org; or mailed by calling 209-953-5437 (KIDS). The application deadline is February 24, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with mini grant projects to start August 2011.

Faith-Based Community Initiative (FBCI)

First 5 San Joaquin is pleased to announce the launch of the 2010-11 Faith-Based Community Initiative (FBCI). Mini-Grants (up to $1,000) are available to faith organizations in San Joaquin County to promote school readiness in their congregations, parishes and surrounding communities.
