The Grandparents Initiative provides coordination and services to Family, Friend, and Neighbor childcare providers in the community. Services include supporting grandparents with Program Coaches; assisting grandparents in developing and implementing Quality Growth Plans; implementing Raising A Reader, an early literacy and family engagement program; screening and referral services; developmental screenings through the Ages & Stages Questionnaire; training and technical assistance related to child development, school readiness, and quality interaction and environments; and providing educational materials supporting Quality Growth Plans.
